a note on laser cutting

"we think one of the hallmarks of modernism is an embrace of new technologies and how they can be applied not only to make things easier and more affordable to manufacture, but also how they can shape the aesthetics of our designed products. A great example is laser cut technology. Using computer programs to create a design, and then feeding that into a machine to create patterns — isn’t it so wonderful that something inconceivable one hundred years ago will probably become common place in just a few years? "
